    For Admiralty Charts you could try TODD CHARTS 0044 (0) 2891 466 640 www.intelligentnavigation.com

A good road map would be better than nothing for general planning or if you prefer charts you'll find that AC 2635 covers your entire area on one (big) sheet. (North Channel to Cape Wrath, Sula Sgeir and Rona). Perhaps consider scanning sections to laser prints on waterproof paper (very tough stuff).

    Have a great tour.

seaf0rth. An afterthought. Reeds Nautical Almanac has a lot of useful stuff in it. If you want an offprint of relvant pages you could perhaps leave a message on this page.

    Hi seafOrth

"Hope to meet with other sea kayakers on the trip." You will certainly meet dozens of like-minded sea kayakers at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig (Gaelic College) in Sleat, Skye 2kms north of the Armadale Calmac ferry pier. The Scottish Sea Kayaking Symposium will be based there 25 - 27 May. Regular ferries from Mallaig - p107-8 in the 'Trail'. Then onwards and under Skye bridge! Hope to meet you.
